The Sikkim Health Minister M.K. Sharma resigns from his post over the recent “foreigner” issue alleging that the Sikkim government has not taken the sentiments of the people seriously and he felt that it was “not necessary to remain in the state cabinet further”. His resignation is being looked as a setback to the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha led state government.
