South Africa beat Afghanistan, playing their first ever Champions Trophy, by 107 runs in the ICC Champions Trophy-2025 match in Karachi on Friday.

Earlier, South Africa posted 315/6 in the first innings against Afghanistan in the third match of the Champions Trophy at the National Stadium in Karachi. South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first.

Meanwhile, South Africa captain Temba Bavuma (58), Rassie van der Dussen, and Aiden Markram chipped in with half-centuries each.
